The Laundry Room-Before and After

It's right next to the kitchen leading into the garage.
Lots of cabinet storage and a little shelf. We installed a wood peg rack on the opposite wall.
We stained the peg rack the same as the wood trim and cabinets.
We painted the walls the same color as the kitchen, Behr's High Plateau.

added some art
wooden signs and plaques
and repurposed an old rake head as a hanger. You can see the new metal twig cabinet hardware here.
The lantern is used when we take the doggies out for their last night time walk. It's so dark in the mountains at night, especially if there is no moon. You should see the stars!

Kitchen-Before and After

The kitchen began nice and new.
We did made few changes. To give it a "cabbage" look.
We exchanged the cabinet hardware to a metal twig design.
We exchanged the appliances to stainless steel.
Changed the lighting and ceiling fan to something more rustic.
Antler motif to coordinate with the dining and living rooms.
The floors were slate
.
We painted, hung pictures, added a valance, baskets, pottery and a few favorite things.
The new lighting and fan
Gas stove and we added the new, more rustic stone back splash.
We painted the kitchen and adjoining laundry room High Plateau by Behr.
Top of the fridge. My apple cobbler pan hangs on the wall. I found it at a craft fair. Always make my apple cobbler in it.
Granite counters
Local pottery and Longaberger baskets
counter
coffee station
and tea
Kitchen sink window. Good morning bear.

Tubing in Deep Creek!

The perfect summer day in North Carolina. Head to Bryson City and go to Deep Creek. You can rent tubes there and spend the day floating down the creek.

Tubers walking their tubes to the top of the creek.

Riding the creek.

past the falls.

then under the bridge.
A little white water coming up.
Lower in the woods.
After they reach the bottom, they take their tubes and hike back up again for another ride. Have a great weekend!
