Weekly Tablechange

I like to change the table setting each week using the things I have. This week I'm using an apple theme.

The centerpiece  is my rectangular wooden bowl filled with wooden apples and pinecones. The placemats are reversible, plaid/harvest fruit with matching plaid napkins , by Longaberger.

Cherry Plaid
Harvest Fruit
Ivory Longaberger pottery and ruby glass  bowls from Old Time Pottery. Hammered flatware by Cambridge bought at JCP.
Wooden apple napkin rings gather the napkin.
Ivory pottery tray on a wrought iron stand, by Longaberger hold an assortment of pitchers/creamers used for warm syrup at breakfast. The two glass pitchers with tin lids are antique finds.
I remove the lids to warm the syrup in  the microwave.
Apple basket salt and pepper set are thrift store finds.
Tea pot from Pottery Barn, but found at Faith Farm Thrift. A jar filled with Bigelow's Apple & Spice Herb tea is topped with a scrap of fabric and tied with raffia.
It sits inside an apple shaped baker I bought at a Montana craft fair. I use it to make apple cobbler.
There's even a recipe on the bottom.
When I'm not using it, it hangs from a leather strap on the wall. Decorative storage.

Cheers!

Rita

  21. I love the rustic feel of an apple theme....and so perfect for the fall too. But if you'd been a good blogger, you'd have made that apple cobbler and somehow sent it over the Internet so we could all have some. Now I'm hungry. Just kidding!
